Statement

Our Commitment

The State Court of Fulton County is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to guarantee that our digital infrastructure is inclusive, transparent, and legally compliant under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Conformance Status

The new Fulton County State Court website is engineered and manually audited to target full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We utilize high-contrast typography, semantic HTML structures, and ARIA labeling to ensure that our judicial resources, forms, and orders are accessible to screen readers and keyboard-only users.

  • Screen Reader Optimization: Complete ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) structures and descriptive alt-text on all functional imagery.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Complete layout functionality, including dropdown menus and forms, via standard keyboard inputs.
  • Data Grid Refactoring: Court fee schedules and calendars are refactored into responsive layouts to eliminate layout breakage on mobile devices.
  • Color and Contrast: Interface elements conform strictly to a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
  • User Interface Toolkit: A native accessibility toolbar allows users to dynamically adjust text scaling, toggle high-contrast modes, and highlight link architectures instantly.

Technical Specifications

Accessibility of the Fulton County State Court website relies on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA frameworks to work seamlessly across browsers and assistive platforms.
