Scam Alert

Official security guidance regarding fraudulent communications targeting Fulton County residents.

The State Court of Fulton County strictly prohibits the solicitation of immediate financial payments or sensitive personal numbers via text message, personal phone lines, or email.

Malicious actors are currently attempting to exploit citizens by mimicking official judiciary seals, local administrative letterheads, and text notification networks. The Court does not process payments or resolve outstanding citation liabilities using these methods.

Recognizing Fraudulent Tactics

  • SMS Text Messaging: Court networks do not distribute text message threads prompting direct processing options or unverified outbound link shortcuts.
  • QR Barcode Integrations: Official physical notices issued by the clerk will never request payment validation via an embedded matrix barcode.
  • Demands for Immediate Forms: Court employees will never call to ask for digital banking security passwords, routing strings, or gift card transaction verification to clear a missed jury duty summons.
  • Secure File Status Verification: You can independently verify the standing of any active citation, case file, or penalty directly by visiting our authentic data registry at the Tyler Host Records Portal.
