PROCESS SERVER APPLICATION

Managed by Court Administration, the Process Server Application provides a streamlined process for individuals seeking authorization to serve legal process within the State Court of Fulton County.

Application Schedule

Important: Applications for 2027 open in October 2026. Links are removed in December to ensure timely processing.

1. Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and a citizen of the United States.
  • Must have no record of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude.
  • Background & Notary: Application requires a notarized certification and a mandatory background check.
  • Background Check Verification: Reports must be completed within 2 weeks of submission and bear an official agency seal.
  • Required Training: Proof of Georgia Certified Process Server 12-Hour Pre-Certification Training.
  • State Examination & CE Rule: Proof of a passing score on the Georgia Certified Process Server State Examination.
  • Attorney Endorsement: Applicants must provide a notarized Endorsement Affidavit signed by a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
  • Code of Conduct: Applicants must sign and attach the Official Code of Conduct to their application.
  • Georgia Domicile: A legible copy of a valid Georgia Driver’s License must be included.
